In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualification:
- Manage software/infra/network changes in the environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle db and be able to run/create/fine tune queries
- Advance knowledge of Splunk is required
- Working knowledge of OpenShift, cloud technologies, networking is also required
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in improving system efficiencies and automating on tasks that require human intervention
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and technology initiatives (OpenShift) to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or operational standards
- Review/debug code, test and document for investigations or change implementations
- Review and analyze moderately complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical conditions
- Act as a key participant and/or make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, technology and business team to resolve complex technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- At an operational level, be capable of managing incidents and following problem management best practices
